Small Groups:
Welcome to Manna Church's Small Group Ministry. Because of the growth of our
congregation and in an effort to serve you better, we have made it easy for
you to "Get Plugged In." Small Groups are a wonderful way to get involved
in church life at Manna. Not only will you develop relationships, you will also
be spiritually impacted in whatever group you choose to attend.
What is a Small Group?
Small groups are gatherings of at least three people who meet regularly for a
variety of purposes. The main emphasis is to develop relationships and grow
in your walk with the Lord while reaching out to those who don't know Jesus
Christ in your neighborhood and community. Each Small group runs for about 16 weeks followed by a two week break in a
semester format: Spring, Summer and Fall. If the group is continuing you
may stay with it or choose to attend another one.
How do I Select a Group?
Each "semester" a directory is produced that will catalog
all the small groups that will be offered. In order to join a cell, you need
only consult this directory and determine which
group best fits you. All the information you need will be listed in the
Small Group Directory. If you do not find one that fits you, consider
starting your own! At the beginning of each cell semester there is opportunity
to submit your idea, get training, and lead a small group. It is that simple. You can
obtain a copy of the current directory through the church office by calling
867-9151 or by picking one up in the Worship Center Foyer during Sunday Services.
